Cue Metallica's "Enter Sandman" and add another reason to love the endearing and enduring New York Yankees pitcher Mariano "Mo" Rivera. Mo recently hit a major career milestone. On September 19th in a 6-4 win over the Minnesota Twins Rivera made his 602nd career save and became Major League Baseball's all-time saves leader. The Panamanian pitcher has spent his entire 17 year career in pinstripes (a feat in and of itself in the days of free agency) and is known for his signature pitch the "cut" fastball which has played a key role in the five championships won by the Yankees since 1996. Teammate Mark Texiera recently told the Los Angeles Times "When you talk about the greatest relievers of all time, there's only one guy, [t]hat conversation begins and ends with Mo."
